We’re on a mission to optimize purpose and profit .
Our mission
Metric unlocks the ESG dataset required to align sustainability, equity, and profitability in private markets. We make measurement easy so that companies and investors can focus on improvement. We believe that sustainability and diversity are good for the bottom line, and we use data-driven strategies to help high growth ventures outperform.
Our story
Megan grew up in a Midwestern rust belt town where decommissioned manufacturing plants caused environmental concern and job losses. She studied policy at Georgetown but saw that the public sector does not have the speed or scale to single-handedly address systemic issues like climate change or inequality. While working on her MBA at Harvard Business School, Megan founded Metric to help high growth ventures maximize stakeholder value by building sustainability, equity, and good governance into their foundation.
